Build Community - Step-by-Step Getting Started Guide

🚀 Welcome to Build Community!

This step-by-step guide will walk you through your first day in Build Community, from rolling your first dice to building your first structure. Follow these steps to get started on your community-building journey!

📍 Step 1: Find Your Community

1. Navigate to Your Community - From your dashboard, click "My Community" in the top navigation
2. Find Build Community - Look for the "Build Community" module on your community page
3. Enter the Game - Click to enter your ZIP code's 40x40 building grid

🎲 Step 2: Take Your First Dice Roll

1. Locate the Dice Interface - Find the "Roll & Move" section on the right side of the screen
2. Check Your Daily Rolls - You get 1 dice roll per day (resets at midnight)
3. Click "Roll Dice" - Click the dice button to roll a number between 1-6
4. Watch Your Movement - Your player avatar will move around the board
5. Earn Your First XP - You'll receive 10 XP for your first dice roll!

1. Understand the Layout - The 40x40 grid represents your community's virtual space
2. Click on Tiles - Click any tile to see information about it
3. Check Zone Colors - Different colored zones have different prices:
   • 🟡 Center: 500🪙 (most expensive)
   • 🟠 Corner: 300🪙
   • 🔵 Main St: 200🪙
   • 🟢 Secondary: 150🪙
   • ⚪ Interior: 100🪙 (cheapest)
4. Find Available Tiles - Look for tiles that show "Available for Purchase"

💰 Step 4: Check Your Starting Coins

1. View Your Balance - Check your coin balance in the top navigation (yellow badge)
2. Starting Amount - New players typically start with 200-300 coins
3. Plan Your Budget - Decide how much you want to spend on your first tile

🏠 Step 5: Purchase Your First Tile

1. Choose a Strategic Location - Look for an Interior zone tile (white/gray color)
2. Click the Tile - Click on your chosen tile to open the information modal
3. Review the Details - Check the price and zone information
4. Click "Purchase Tile" - Confirm your purchase
5. Confirm Transaction - Your coins will be deducted and you'll own the tile!

1. Click Your Owned Tile - Click on the tile you just purchased
2. Choose "Build Structure" - Select the building option from the modal
3. Select Structure Type - Choose from available options:
   • 🏠 Home - Great first choice, affordable
   • 🏪 Store - Generates more income
   • 🏢 Business Office - Professional appearance
4. Customize (Optional) - Choose colors and styles for extra XP
5. Confirm Building - Complete your first structure!

📊 Step 7: Check Your Progress

1. View XP Progress - Check the "Player Progress" section on the right
2. See Your Level - You should now be Level 1 with some XP earned
3. Check Badges - View your newly unlocked badges
4. Review Leaderboards - See how you rank in your community

1. Set Daily Goals - Plan to roll dice daily for XP and streaks
2. Save Coins - Decide whether to buy more tiles or upgrade existing ones

   • Income - Focus on structures that generate daily coins
